When Lauren and Brian arrived for their Maternity session, Indy, their 9 month old poodle, jumped out the car with a cone on his neck - The poor little guy had surgery last week but was still full of energy! Lauren and Brian on the other hand, were ready right from the start. They are a super easy going couple who were up for anything and were happy just enjoying a beautiful night on the beach.
The first time I took photos for Melanie and Mike was a few years ago, when they were expecting their first baby. I actually photographed their baby shower and had fun catching up with old friends and seeing all fo the loving people they’ve connected with in their lives. When I met up with them in March for her maternity session, they were getting ready to welcome the fourth member of their family!
I've had the pleasure of living on the Cape for 30 of my 38 years, and have gotten to explore it even more as I've shot Family photo sessions all over Cape Cod. It amazes me how beautiful all of the beaches are for their own reasons - The Outer Cape offers large dunes and beautiful beach grass while the Upper Cape has amazing boardwalks and fun locations!
Cape Cod maternity photos on the beach are so special - soft sunset light, warm winds, and perfect backdrops. Nicole and her husband were on a quick Cape vacation and found me on Instagram. I was so excited it worked out and I could get them on my schedule.
